The works consisted of full road construction of a 9.3m wide single carriageway and verges for a distance of 2km. Construction of a new bridge and river realignment, cattle underpass and retaining walls, demolition, ground improvement and strengthening, culvert replacement, drainage, kerbing, fencing, safety barrier, street lighting, BT ducting, watermains for NI Water, white lining and other ancillary works.There were 5 right hand turning lanes and realignment of side roads associated with the works.
