Title:              SHEQ Advisor

REF:               SHEQ/06/24

LOCATION: Projects across Ireland

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time, permanent SHEQ Advisor to join our successful team, working across a variety of projects within Ireland inclusive of Civils, Utility, Data Centres, Road Infrastructure, Renewable and Windfarm projects.

Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Assurance on construction projects.

Key responsibilities include: – 

Main Duties

  • Ensure all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations; compile reports and ensure compliance is consistently maintained.
  • Ensure the completion and regular review of Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Ensure all accidents and near misses are documented, investigated and the recommended improvements are implemented.
  • Ensure that employees, contractors, and site visitors receive site/company induction.
  • Ensure the completion and regular review of Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans and associated documentation.
  • Ensure the completion and regular review of Construction Environmental Management Plans and associated documentation.
  • Plan and coordinate SHEQ related training for employees.
  • Preparing safety alerts and toolbox talks as required.
  • Promotion of good health and safety practices within the workplace.
  • Assist the SHEQ Manager with PQQ and Tender Submissions as required.
  • Compile and review monthly statistics for projects/company as required.
  • Maintain and update all relevant SHEQ Department administration. Assist in developing all the required documentation for the SHEQ Management System to be compliant with OHSAS 45001 and ISO 14001 and 9001 standards.

 Qualifications, knowledge, and experience

  • NEBOSH OHAS Qualification Certificate – minimum held for at least 2 years.
  • Environmental and Quality qualification is advantageous.
  • Exposure to and understanding of implementation of OHSAS 45001 or 18001 and ISO 14001 and 9001
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar Health and Safety role – knowledge of civils, Utility, Data Centres, Road Infrastructure, Renewable and Windfarm works would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and team building skills.
  • Well-developed organisation / planning skills
  • Good problem – solving skills, provides solutions.
  • Sound IT skills and strong experience in Microsoft packages especially Word & Excel.
  • A Clean Driving licence is essential for travel to sites in NI and ROI.

Title:             Bid Administrator

REF:               BA/06/24

LOCATION: Head Office

An opportunity has arisen for a Bid Administrator to join our team on a full tine permanent basis.  This role requires the ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It requires strong people and time management skills and an excellent understanding of the civil engineering sector.


Scope of Work:-

  • Completion of pre-qualification/tender questionnaires in accordance with client instructions.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure bids are delivered on time and accurately.
  • Download documents and clarifications and distribute to relevant personnel.
  • Upload submissions

 Requirements: -

  • 5 GCSE’s including English and Maths
  • Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Previous use of tendering portals such as etenders/ESourcing.
  • Experience of preparing pre-qualifications and tenders within a civil engineering environment is essential.
